Deccan Odyssey Train
The Deccan Odyssey is one of the Luxury trains of India. The Deccan Odyssey train is a joint venture between the Indian Railways and the Government of Maharashtra. The Deccan Odyssey train explores Maharashtra, the splendor of Konkan coast, along with the art, culture and the heritage of Maharashtra during its eight-day sojourn. The Deccan Odyssey takes around 80 passengers on a tour of Goa and northwestern parts of Maharashtra state.
During its journey, the Deccan Odyssey stops at Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Goa, Pune, Aurangabad, (Ajanta and Ellora) and Nashik. The Deccan Odyssey is an attempt to showcase the best of heritage and culture of Maharashtra and Goa, while enjoying a regal ride. The Deccan Odyssey helps you to visit forts, historical places, museums, beaches etc of Maharashtra and Goa. The weeklong Deccan Odyssey train tour includes several interesting destinations, covering the vast expanse of Maharashtra and Goa.

Day 01 : Wednesday Delhi
Departure in the evening from Chhatripatei Shivaji Terminus Mumbai.
Day 02: Thursday
Morning - Arrival at Bhoke Railway Station. Reach Rai Bhatgaon Jetty by AC bus for Back Water Cruise up to historical fort Jaigad. Board the bus to explore finest beach along the Konkan coast. Free time & lunch at Ganapatipule beach resort. Noon board the bus for sight seeing tour of Ratnagiri town. Visit to Ratnadurg Fort, Lokmanaya Tilak Smarak and free time in Ratnagiri Bazar. Board the train at Ratnagiri Railway station.
Day 03 : Friday
Morning - Arrival at Sindhudurg Nagari Railway station. Departure by AC Bus to Malvan Jetty to witness Sindhudurg Sea Fort From Jetty proceed to Tarkarli beach resort for lunch & free time. After lunch Back Water Cruise through the Tarkarli creek up to Kale Jetty followed by visit to Sawantwadi town by bus to witness fabulous lacquer handicrafts, paintings and furniture at the "Shiipagrama" in the town. Late in the evening board the train at Sawantwadi railway station.
